SYSTRA is expanding! Over the past few years we have significantly increased our Consultancy business in the UK and Ireland and expanded our services and market presence. We continue to grow our business and we are looking for exceptional Graduates to develop their career journey with us. SYSTRA is a multi-disciplinary transport consultancy business with projects running throughout and across all sectors of the engineering and transport planning industry in the UK and abroad. Our projects span all modes of transport from highways to heavy and light rail, buses and active travel modes like cycling and walking. As such we need a wide range of skills to support the variety of projects that we deliver for our clients covering our wide range of services. Our Graduates will be given the opportunity to work as Assistant Consultants/ Engineers on a range of projects across the key disciplines below to gain broad insight and skills which will enable considered career development. This role will be based from our Newcastle office and will initially sit within our D&I Team (Development and Infrastructure).

Missions/Main Duties

  • Support proposal development and deliver work‐packages within projects
  • Execute tasks to quality, time and budget
  • Record and present information clearly
  • Demonstrate basic proficiency in the application of a range of methods, techniques and tools
  • Identify key facts in straightforward data, evaluate them and their sources to draw basic conclusions
  • Recognise patterns and trends
  • Demonstrate knowledge of various survey techniques

Profile/Skills

We would be very interested in applications from graduates in the below disciplines:

  • Civil Engineering

Most importantly we want people with a passion for the transport world, an enquiring mind, great attention to detail, tenacity and team working skills. Additional beneficial experience would be:
