SYSTRA is hiring an Architectural Designer based in one of our York, Leeds, Manchester or London offices.
Missions / Main Duties
- Assist in the production of designs, drawings, schedules and calculations for design projects under the direction of an Architect/Project Lead.
- Take responsibility for allocated tasks.
- Liaise with both architecture and wider multi-discipline colleagues to produce organised, collaborative built‑environment design solutions.
- Competent use of appropriate industry standard CAD modelling software (REVIT).
- Work to achieve the agreed targets regarding the effective delivery of projects to current design, engineering and safety standards, within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Visit project sites as and when required with the support of senior team members responsible for the project.
Profile / Skills
- BA(Hons) BSc (Hons) plus 2yr Diploma (assumes inc 1 yrs work exp) as a minimum.
- Experienced in the use of Autodesk REVIT with a good understanding of BIM modelling principles.
- Excellent understanding of the creative design process throughout the RIBA work stages.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / InDesign to produce quality graphical presentations.
- Pro‑active solution orientated approach.
- Motivated team player who works well under pressure and engages with colleagues.
