Within a global team that plans, designs, and delivers mass‑transit and mobility solutions, this role supports the Cyber Security strategy for rail & infrastructure projects from concept through operation and maintenance. SYSTRA values sustainability, accessibility and innovation and is looking for a highly motivated professional to join our growing Cyber Security team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Cyber Security Engineer in delivering cyber security solutions to rail & infrastructure clients, managing governance and lifecycle activities.
- Contribute to the creation of evidence supporting cybersecurity standards and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in defining cybersecurity strategy, schedules, and deliverables.
- Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their requirements are met and effectively communicated to the team.
- Adapt to design challenges, producing workable solutions that balance quality, cost and cross‑discipline integration.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and liaise with other disciplines for issue resolution.
- Review technical documents and reports, supporting expression‑of‑interest and tender preparations.
- Participate in standards briefings run by the Lead Cyber Security Engineer.
Essential Qualifications
- BSc in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in OT cyber security and risk management.
- Ability to independently define and manage cyber security strategy and OT governance.
- Proven experience in threat identification and cyber risk assessment for complex systems.
- Strong working knowledge of major OT security standards (e.g., IEC 62443 series).
- Capability to support supply‑chain management and conduct cyber security audits.
- Experience in producing zones and conduits partitioning diagrams, defining cyber security requirements, and cyber assurance.
- Knowledge of ISO 27005, NIST 800‑82, NIST 800‑53.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of NIS/NIS2.
- Railway industry experience and TS 50701 knowledge.
- Understanding of railway frameworks (EN 50126/9, IEC 62278, IEC 62425) and system engineering standards (ISO 15288, ISO 12207, etc.).
