With over 10,300 colleagues globally and around 1,000 in the UK, the role involves:
- Preparation, checking and/or approval of technical reports and other written documents.
- Implementing effective, value for money and innovative design solutions to meet technical and project requirements.
- Preparing and checking engineering designs, calculations, and overseeing production.
- Preparing and checking technical documents and reports and assisting in the preparation of expressions of interest and tenders.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation, particularly the CDM Regulations.
- Effective management of and response to project related correspondence.
- Acting as a representative within the Technical Directorate and Production Centres in the wider SYSTRA Group.

Profile / Skills
- Experience of contract conditions, processes and procedures.
- Ability in programming, delivery, budgets and timescales.
- Ability in the application of safety standards and CDM regulations.
- Experience of line management.
- Knowledgeable on relevant design software.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting procedures, and relevant technical guidance, good practice and policies including emerging regarding Environment management and Sustainability and Carbon.
- Ability to provide environmental assessment and environmental legislation expertise.
- Degree qualified in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline, and/or significant experience in the environment and sustainability profession.
- Chartered status with a relevant professional body.
