The Opportunity
SystemsAccountants has been engaged by a market-leading organisation to support the hiring of an experienced Oracle EPM (Planning) Systems Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist finance systems team at the forefront of enterprise-wide transformation.
You will play a key role in shaping and supporting group-wide finance system initiatives, with a particular focus on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) – Planning/PBCS. Working across the full project lifecycle, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-impact solutions, while ensuring effective transition into BAU support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver functional enhancements and change requests within Oracle EPM Planning/PBCS, ensuring solutions align with business requirements.
- Provide incident management and system support, resolving both functional and technical issues.
- Support data integration, validation, and reconciliation processes across finance systems.
- Maintain robust controls, governance standards, and best practices across the EPM estate.
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver training and user documentation.
- Analyse and map complex finance processes and system architecture, ensuring alignment with evolving Oracle EPM capabilities and best practices.
- Support and administer Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM), including master data governance activities.
- Embed new solutions into BAU, ensuring smooth handover to the Finance Systems team.
About You
- Proven experience as a Finance Systems Administrator with hands-on expertise in Oracle Planning/PBCS.
- Strong track record delivering end-to-end EPM solutions, including: Planning model and dimensional design, Forms, reports, dashboards and Smart View, Business rules, calculations, and Groovy scripting, Data Management integrations, EDM (viewpoints, workflows, dimension management).
- Exposure to OCI/OIC integrations (desirable).
- Solid understanding of financial controls, governance, and audit requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Highly organised, with strong documentation and process-mapping capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project).
