Sage Intacct Consultant

SystemsAccountants are working with a leading Sage ERP Consultancy to find a Sage Intacct Consultant to join their Sage implementation team. This role will involve handling the implementation of Sage Intacct along with associated add-ons and modules with various clients. This role involves conducting kick-off project meetings, installing Sage software and related products, including Microsoft SQL, providing training sessions, and performing data conversions.
Role Responsibilities
- To attend business analysis meetings with customers to discuss existing systems and implementation of new systems
- To carry out the installation of Sage products on the customers’ hardware as appropriate
- To prepare and present classroom and onsite training to new and existing customers core modules of Sage products
- To carry out project management and documentation of the Sage product installation timescales, milestones and procedures
- To manage and schedule their own diary and that of others involved in a project
- To carry out onsite visits to complete projects and support existing customers when necessary
- Logging detailed information in response to customer queries and responding in a timely manner with solutions
- Travel and potential over-night stays may be required to fulfil the customers’ needs and the role, throughout the UK
- To carry out other implementation, training and support duties as required including supporting the TSG Academy and content
- You may be required to deliver internal training to assist with cross consultant knowledge.
Role Requirements
- Possess a Sage Intacct Accreditation (Implementation or Accounting Certified)
- Knowledge of Sage 200 would be a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of BI products would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Sage Manufacturing, Sage CRM and 3rd Party applications (Sicon, Draycir, Eureka, Eque2, Codeless Platforms) would also be an advantage
- Knowledge of SQL and preferably have basic scripting knowledge and be able to install and configure
- Good accounts knowledge is essential
- Experience of delivering successful software implementations in a past role
- Previous experience of delivering training in a classroom environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to advise customers of the best way that data can meet their need
- Ability to listen to customers’ needs, gather requirements and propose the best solution
- Team player but able to work on their own
- Ability to effectively work with and train customers
- Good customer facing skills and strong customer focus
- Good telephone manner
- Self-starter and able to use own initiative
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and proactively seeks opportunities to improve the ERP practice
- Demonstrates commitment to the role, team and company, and will go the extra mile when required
- Full UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes is essential
