SystemsAccountants is working with a leading international organisation to recruit a OneStream Finance Systems Developer. This is a key role within the Group Financial Control function, focusing on the ongoing development, maintenance, and enhancement of their enterprise-wide OneStream Corporate Performance Management (CPM) system.
The Opportunity
As the OneStream Finance Systems Developer, you will be responsible for delivering enhancements and supporting the core functionality of the group’s consolidation and planning platform. You’ll play a vital role in driving automation, simplifying processes, and enabling faster, more insightful reporting across the business.
You’ll work closely with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, design and implement system changes, and ensure smooth operation of critical month-end and forecasting processes.
System Development & Enhancement:
- Gather, validate, and translate functional requirements into technical solutions
- Design, build, test, and implement new capabilities in OneStream (e.g. business rules, dashboards, KPIs, XF Marketplace solutions)
- Identify opportunities for automation and process simplification
- Manage deployments and ensure controlled roll-out of system updates
System Administration:
- Maintain and enhance forecasting and consolidation logic (including VB.net-based business rules)
- Execute monthly and quarterly system routines to support group reporting
- Respond to user queries and troubleshoot system issues
- Provide training and onboarding for new users
- Ensure compliance with controls and maintain up-to-date system documentation
- Manage system access and monitor overall performance
Reporting Development:
- Build and support in-application reports and dashboards
- Partner with finance teams to deliver timely, accurate, and meaningful reporting solutions
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Deep hands-on experience with OneStream, including technical configuration, rule building, and system architecture
- Strong coding ability in VB.net
- Previous involvement in OneStream implementation or change projects
- A solid understanding of financial consolidation, planning, and forecasting processes
- Analytical mindset and a drive for process improvement
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across functions and work under tight deadlines
