This is a high‑impact role working with global blue‑chip organisations across multiple industry sectors and complex multinational environments.
As a Senior Manager, you will act as a subject‑matter expert in FP&A, shaping end‑to‑end planning, forecasting and performance management solutions. You’ll lead client engagements, drive commercial outcomes, and contribute to practice growth while ensuring delivery excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead FP&A transformation workstreams, covering process design, target operating models, planning frameworks and performance reporting.
- Act as the functional SME across planning, budgeting and forecasting, advising clients on best‑in‑class practices and future‑state design.
- Work confidently within fragmented organisational structures, helping clients understand how to connect, align and “glue together” disparate FP&A processes across regions, business units and functions.
- Leverage your understanding of EPM technologies to advise on how systems can support and enable improved planning, reporting and performance management.
- Support commercial activities including proposal development, client presentations and shaping new opportunities.
- Oversee delivery of complex programmes, bringing complementary skills in project and programme management.
- Work with global blue‑chip clients (typically £20bn+ revenue) across industrial, manufacturing and diversified groups.
- Build trusted relationships with senior Finance leaders, influencing decision‑making and driving measurable outcomes.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, contributing to capability development within the practice.
- Travel as required to support client engagements.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong FP&A functional expertise, ideally gained in a Big 4 consulting environment, though industry backgrounds with transformation exposure will also be considered.
- Proven experience designing and delivering FP&A processes, planning frameworks and performance management solutions.
- Ability to navigate and rationalise fragmented structures, aligning processes, data and governance across complex organisations.
- Familiarity with EPM platforms (e.g., Oracle, Anaplan, SAP, OneStream) and how they support planning and reporting transformation.
- A track record of working on large‑scale Finance Transformation programmes.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting business development or client‑facing commercial activities.
- Complementary experience in project or programme management, with the ability to structure and drive complex initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage senior Finance and business leaders.
- Experience working with large, global organisations—ideally industrial or manufacturing groups.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
