Overview

The Finance Systems Support Accountant will provide operational and technical support across multiple finance systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day processes and assisting with user management, training, and reporting. This role is critical for maintaining system integrity and supporting system-related tasks including user creation, training, first-line support, and other routine finance checks and tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Support: Supporting and maintaining finance systems including Access (Workspace, Dimensions, Focalpoint, Expenses, LMS), Proactis, GoCardless, and Airwallex.
  • User Management: Handle user creation and access management. Deliver user training and onboarding sessions.
  • First-Line Support: Act as the first point of contact for staff queries. Manage communication with system support teams and portals, encouraging self-service ticket raising (especially for Proactis).
  • Assist with routine finance tasks such as managing deposits on TDS and trial balance reconciliations.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop SQL reports using Access Data Engine and Analytics tools to support team insights.

Role Requirements

  • Strong understanding of finance systems and processes.
  • Experience with Access Dimensions and Proactis is highly desirable.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with SQL reporting and data analytics (advantageous).
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
