SystemsAccountants are partnering with a longstanding client who are undergoing a major reporting and systems transformation. They are looking for a Finance Systems Accountant with strong experience in BI development to join the Finance Systems team and take a lead in developing their chosen reporting platform, Tableau. Tableau is preferred, but candidates with experience in similar reporting solutions such as Power BI are encouraged to apply.
This is a business‑facing role where you’ll combine hands‑on dashboard development with shaping reporting architecture and engaging stakeholders across Finance. You’ll work closely with the Finance Systems Manager into a growing function, joining at a pivotal moment as reporting becomes a more strategic capability.
The role:
- Develop Tableau dashboards and reporting assets, helping redesign the organisation’s reporting model
- Support a major Salesforce transformation, ensuring reporting aligns with new processes and data structures
- Partner with Finance to define requirements, challenge assumptions, and improve reporting quality
- Contribute to a broader programme of change, including new system implementations and integrations
- Work across multiple finance systems (e.g., planning, ERP, CRM) as the transformation progresses
What we’re looking for:
- BI development experience in Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, OBIEE, Business Objects, or similar
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting data, or FP&A processes
- Ideally experience with finance systems (ERP, EPM, planning tools, or similar)
- Someone who enjoys hands‑on build work and can confidently partner with business users
- A proactive, curious problem‑solver who can operate independently in a small team
- Comfortable with hybrid working
