Finance Systems Analyst

Job purpose:

SystemsAccountants are working on behalf of a legal client to source a Finance Systems Support Analyst (Elite 3E) to provide systems support to users. The role will involve educating staff in the system, maintaining documentation, and designing, testing, and implementing functional improvements.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Deliver expert and dependable support for financial systems to users across the global network.
• Handle 3E support requests promptly and effectively.
• Log, track and escalate software defects and other technical issues as required.
• Seek opportunities to enhance service quality, improve processes and optimise the use of financial systems.
• Perform year end and month end processes.
• Help identify performance issues and support IT teams in testing and validating technical solutions.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of training materials and scripts, and assist in delivering training sessions so that all finance staff have the necessary system knowledge.
• Be able to work in shift patterns on a rota basis between 07:00 and 19:00.

Role requirements:

• Experience in Practice Management Systems, Elite 3E preferred.
• Able to adapt to new systems and technologies (SQL, reporting concepts).
• Finance transactional processing experience.
• Experience working within a large, multi-national organisation.
