About the Role
In this role, you will design and implement SAP security roles, manage Segregation of Duties (SoD) rule sets, and build security provisioning and workflow solutions. Working Style
Able to tailor existing approaches and propose alternative ways to overcome moderately complex challenges. Works in alignment with organisational IT and SAP Identity Management objectives. Applies sound judgement to identify solutions, seeking input from peers or leaders when tackling more complex issues. Engages primarily with their manager and peers, with occasional interaction across other levels of the organisation. Takes a consultative approach when managing new tasks or assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Analysts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to interpret requirements and translate them into detailed SAP security and authorisation designs.

- Configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud security components and produce supporting documentation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Aerospace & Defence processes or related functional domains.
- Take responsibility for security and authorisations during implementations, rollouts, and ongoing support activities.
- Support project planning and ensure outputs align with agreed timelines and objectives.
- Deliver services in line with project or IT expectations.
- Identify opportunities to improve solutions using the newest SAP Public Cloud technologies.
- Apply strong knowledge of security frameworks, role‑based access control, system administration, and recovery principles; conduct security assessments as needed.
- Independently manage complex security tasks and contribute significantly to project deliverables.
- Produce high‑quality written documentation and participate in formal presentations.
- Share expertise and mentor team members.
Experience Required
- 5+ years working with SAP S/4HANA, primarily in implementation environments.
- 5+ years producing technical documentation.
- 5+ years working with SAP Fiori security and HANA database security.
- Experience delivering at least one SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation, or proven knowledge supported by relevant SAP training or certifications.
- Previous experience in a consultancy or advisory role.
- Strong expertise in SAP Security & Authorisations and understanding of cross‑module impacts.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree‑level education or equivalent experience (minimum 10 years).
- Strong understanding of internal controls, SAP Security, and SAP Access/Process Controls.
- Creative and analytical problem‑solver with a collaborative mindset.
- Proven ability to work effectively within team-driven environments.
