- We are looking for an experienced
Data & Insights Manager to join a commercial analytics team on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who can take complex commercial, market and customer data and turn it into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders.
You will work closely with commercial, marketing and finance teams, helping them understand business performance, identify market opportunities and make better data‑led decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse commercial, market and customer data to identify trends, opportunities and areas of underperformance.
- Develop clear insights and recommendations to support commercial and brand strategy.
- Monitor key business and brand KPIs, providing regular performance reporting to stakeholders.
- Support the development of market, customer, patient and revenue forecasts.
- Work closely with Finance and commercial teams to challenge and validate forecasting assumptions.
- Maintain and improve existing dashboards, reporting and analytics outputs.
- Use tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or advanced Excel to communicate insight effectively.
- Support customer segmentation, targeting and campaign performance analysis.
- Provide competitor and market intelligence to help the business understand changes in the external landscape.
- Work with internal and external data sources to improve the quality and availability of commercial insight.
- Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and commercially relevant way.
Experience Required
- Strong experience within a Data, Insights, Commercial Analytics or Business Intelligence role.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong forecasting experience.
- Experience working with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or a similar BI/reporting platform.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to turn complex datasets into clear business recommendations.
- Comfortable working with senior commercial and finance stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and deliver at pace within a short‑term contract environment.
The successful contractor will be expected to quickly understand the existing data and reporting environment, take ownership of key analytics and forecasting activities, and provide high-quality commercial insight throughout the initial 3-month engagement.
