Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Workday Finance Programme Lead with a strong track record of successfully delivering Workday Fins implementations end-to-end. The project is already in-flight, and this individual will play a critical role in driving it through to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the current project plan and identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead end-to-end project management activities, working closely with the finance team
- Provide clear, timely project updates to the senior leadership team
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Systems Integrator and third-party partners
- Enhance and maintain the existing project plan
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks
- Design, coordinate, and deliver all testing activities
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience delivering a Workday Finance implementation through to go-live in a hands-on project leadership role
- Accountant qualification or proven experience of optimising finance processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with the accounting team
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to anticipate issues and take initiative
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated change management experience
