Fully remote, 3 - 6 months initially, part time / ad-hoc (likely 2 days a week). SystemsAccountants are currently working with a client who has recently gone live on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud in November 2025, migrating away from NetSuite. Following go-live and hypercare, they are looking to onboard an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud expert to assist with the optimisation, maintenance and support of their system. This would be an ad-hoc contract on an hourly-rate basis.
They are looking to hire an independent Contractor to provide consultancy-esque support. Our client had previously employed a NetSuite Support Consultant to deliver a similar ad-hoc service for their legacy system and are now looking to replicate this model to support their new SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ERP.
There are two sides to this role: delivering support and acting as a point of escalation for any issues that arise in the system, as well as proactively addressing areas for continuous improvement and providing quality assurance on the work done by their SI so far.
You would be acting as an SAP S/4HANA subject matter expert, advising on best practice within SAP, addressing challenges with the current set-up, and enabling widespread adoption of the system amongst finance end-users.
Role Requirements include:
- Previous SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience.
- Experience in SAP FICO across general ledger, fixed assets, cost allocation etc.
- Experience integrating S/4 Group Reporting, to address ongoing issues with their consolidation tool.
- Finance knowledge and accountancy background to assist with month and year end where needed.
