About the Company
Our client is a well‑established logistics company based in Stockport. Due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to be based in their head office.

Requirements
- Experience working within a Transport / Distribution environment (essential)
- Experience operating within a Pallet Network
- Recent UK Road Haulage operational experience preferred; good understanding of other freight modes also preferred
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills essential
- Excellent telephone manner
Responsibilities
- Answer calls and liaise with customers chasing bookings, delivery times and handling queries
- Liaise with other pallet network depots to chase ETAs
- Work with the Operations team to ensure customers' deliveries run smoothly and communicate any issues promptly and professionally
- Manage customer claims and paperwork
- Maintain and update internal and pallet network databases accurately
- Call and email suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices and arrange bookings for customers
- Work with accounts to set up new businesses onto our internal system and the booking portal
- Provide excellent customer service and develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers
