We are looking for a BESS Engineer to join a well-established, growing energy solutions business. This is a hands-on role with both workshop and national field-based work. You will be playing a key role in the expansion of the organisation, focusing on repairs, fault-diagnosis and reactive call-outs across Battery Energy Storage Systems and Power Generators.

  • £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Min. 2 years hands-on experience on Battery Energy Storage Systems and Power Generators
  • Preferred: NVQ in Plant Maintenance / Electrical Engineer qualifications
  • Must be flexible with national call-outs and staying away from home when required
  • Experienced with Victron Systems
  • Experienced with fault-finding and repairs
  • Strong understanding of Electrical principles and practices
  • Knowledge of System design principles and methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
  • Great communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Customer-Focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service
  • Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A valid driving license with no more than 6 points
