Due to vast growth across our clients' portfolio, we are looking for an experienced Wind Turbine Technician to join their team to strengthen and extend their installation, supply and operation, and maintenance service team. You'll be responsible for maintaining, testing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment of the turbines, ensuring that they're running smoothly and efficiently. This role is built on key areas of teamwork and high quality standards, and reporting will be key to your success.

Responsibilities
- You must be based in the North West
- Proven experience in a similar technician role within Renewable Energy or Wind Energy sectors
- Proven track record in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
- Desirable: Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Renewable Energy Engineering
- Desirable: Working with the 225kW to 850kW range of wind turbines
- Working alongside another Technician, carrying out scheduled and unscheduled servicing, maintenance, inspections, fault-finding and repair on a range of wind turbines and their electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Carrying out preventative tasks based on manufacturers guidelines to minimise downtime and maximise turbine efficiency
- Replace faulty components, such as sensors, control systems and gearboxes, following established procedures and safety processes
- Produce work, service and inspection reports and recording findings as per the reporting systems in a timely manner
- Anticipate potential problems and identify potential solutions to any technical issues observed in the field
