Generator Engineer – Construction & Industrial – Hemel Hempstead Depot & Mobile – £40,000 basic + £50,000 OTE
About The Company
Are you an experienced Generator Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting for skilled Mobile Generator Engineers to join our clients busy Hemel Hempstead depot. Youll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a range of generators from 20KVA to 500KVA, as well as other specialist equipment, delivering first-class service to customers both on-site and in the workshop.
Generator Engineer – The Rewards
- Basic salary circa £40,000 (dependent on experience)
- Up to £50,000 OTE
- Overtime paid door-to-door
- Company van, fuel card and company credit card
- Specialist tools and PPE provided
- Pension and healthcare package
Generator Engineer – Requirements
- Electrically and mechanically qualified.
- Proven experience in servicing and repairing generators.
- Strong fault-finding skills (mechanical and electrical).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to high standards of safety and compliance.
Generator Engineer – Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair generators and associated equipment.
- Carry out electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
- Identify and report machine damage accurately.
- Maintain comprehensive service and maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with your Line Manager and customers to ensure work is completed to the highest standard.
- Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on customer sites and in the workshop.
- Complete all paperwork and timesheets promptly.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ensure all repairs, inspections and equipment comply with safety standards and company procedures.
