As Project Planner you will create and maintain integrated schedules across SEA portfolios, supporting bid baselines and delivery baselines. You’ll provide schedule analysis, reporting, and risk-aware insights to help cross-functional teams make timely decisions. The role combines planning, performance measurement, and dependency management within a high-assurance environment. This is a flexible, hybrid role located at Beckington, Bristol, or Barnstaple with a focus on protecting what matters.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain detailed, logically linked project schedules (including master schedules)
  • Develop and maintain Performance Measurement Baselines at bid stage and during delivery baselining
  • Provide schedule analysis, progress reporting and performance insight for evidence-based decisions
  • Identify schedule risks, opportunities, assumptions, and dependencies; support recovery or mitigation actions

Key requirements

  • Demonstrable project planning and scheduling experience on complex programmes or projects
  • Experience developing and maintaining logic-linked schedules in Microsoft Project or an equivalent enterprise tool
  • Experience with progress measurement, forecast maintenance, critical-path analysis and schedule performance reporting
  • Working knowledge of integrated project controls and relationships between scope, schedule, resource, cost, risk and change
  • Experience supporting baseline development, change control and re-baselining in a controlled environment

Desirable:

  • Engineering, defence, maritime or other high-assurance delivery background
  • APM PMQ, APMG Project Planning and Control qualification or equivalent
  • Earned Value Management, schedule risk analysis, Acumen Fuse, Power BI or equivalent tools
