Taking responsibility for a team of Systems Engineers in the design and development and support of our products. Leading the team to progress the design, development, design proving, test, commissioning, and in-service support of equipment. Systems Engineering Team Lead will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role allows for flexible working. The salary for this role is up to £80k, depending on experience. What you’ll be doing 25% Team Leadership and Management- Ensure that team members have appropriate tools and equipment to do the role safely and efficiently. Allocation of team members to projects based on the priorities given by the business whilst supporting and Empowering team members to ensure that they can grow and develop. 25% Business Development Support – Provide technical expertise and support to the Business Development function including the generation of technical proposals and bids. Assist in the evaluation of new technology and methods. Support business development and bidding activities through technical work package definition and related resource effort estimation. 50% Project Delivery – Coordinate and lead the delivery of engineering work packages. Lead system integration verification and validation activities and manage issue resolution. Manage the capture, analysis, traceability, configuration and V&V of product requirements.
