About The Role

This position will suit an Engineer looking to forward their career in the systems discipline. Being an integral part the design, development, design proving, test, commissioning etc as part of a multi-disciplined team.

Systems Engineer will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role allows for flexible working.

The salary for this role is up to £55k, depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the management of Requirements throughout the Engineering Lifecycle
  • Proving Technical inputs to bidding activities
  • Integration and production qualification activities.
  • Working as a part of team, taking concepts and prototypes, and developing them into Products
  • Planning Work Packages and support the tracking and execution of them

The skills you need

  • Degree, HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Familiar with systems engineering best practice
  • Experience with electrical design and product development
  • Experience with naval combat systems is desirable
  • Competence with requirements management tools such as DOORs is preferred
  • Competence with SYSML management tools such as EA is preferred
