The Electrical Inspector provides an electrical inspection function to the Production Department. This role does require being onsite 5 days a week. The salary for this role is up to £31k, depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Inspection of sub-contracted PECs, harnesses, electrical cabinets and electrical sub-assemblies
- Inspection of internally manufactured assemblies, checking against wiring diagrams, cable schedules, drawings and parts lists
- Writing of defect reports, raising of SIMS documents and providing electrical inputs into FAIR reports
- Carry out insulation and continuity checks as required
- Inspection of termination, crimping and soldering
- To work both individually and within a team environment of multi-disciplined specialists and engineering disciplines to achieve programme results and customer deliverables in a timely and accurate manner
