About The Role Take the next step in your career now. This role is based onsite at our Barnstaple site and requires being onsite 5 days a week. The salary for this role is up to £28k, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a multi-skilled production team providing assembly and machining support to Production and Engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Wiring Technicians, Test Technicians and Engineers to ensure products are delivered on time and to high quality standards.
  • Provide training support for company apprentices to gain experience with machine tools, develop skills, promote shop health & safety and instill good housekeeping culture.
  • Follow instructions to create full assemblies using a mix of electrical and mechanical assembly skills.
  • Maintain fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination for handling small parts and performing precise tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors and other team members to keep the assembly process running smoothly.
  • Demonstrate practical skills with attention to detail and operate with appropriate supervision levels.
