Engineered to Protect, thats our promise, we protect what matters - our nations, our waters, our land, our cities, our people, our environment, our world.The Production Engineer develops and governs manufacturing methods, documentation and production readiness activities, ensuring products are safe, manufacturable, repeatable and compliant throughout the product lifecycle, while driving continuous improvement, efficiency and operational performance.
Production Engineer will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role allows for flexible working.
The salary for this role is circa Β£40k, depending on experience.
Whatyoullbedoing
- Lead the development, implementation and optimisation of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient, repeatable and high-quality production methods for both new and existing products
- Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, supporting projects from concept through to production release and ensuring manufacturing readiness at key project milestones
- Champion Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFM/DFA) principles, collaborating with engineering teams to improve product manufacturability and production efficiency
