About The Role

Material Handlers ensure materials are received, stored, moved and issued efficiently throughout the business. They maintain accurate stock records, handle materials safely, and support operational teams by providing the resources needed to meet production and customer requirements.
Material handler will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role does require being onsite 5 days a week.
The salary for this role is up to £26k, depending on experience.
What you'll be doing Receiving and unpacking material deliveries
Extracting and loading materials for transport
Cycle counting to ensure orders match materials received
Transporting materials in a warehouse or factory, often using forklifts and other material handling equipment
Inspecting material handling equipment and reporting any required repairs or maintenance
Entering material movements in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
Responding to material requests from other business departments
Disposing of waste materials safely and legally
