We're looking for a Senior Commercial Officer to provide support and advice to internal staff, customers and subcontractors on a wide range of commercial matters across some exciting and complex programmes of work in the defence sector. The Senior Commercial Officer will be based at our Bristol site. This role allows for flexible working.
The salary for this role is up to £45k, depending on experience.
You'll take an important role in supporting high value, complex bids, providing high-integrity advice on commercial matters and risk mitigation.
You'll prepare business propositions for customer contracts, working closely with project managers, internal stakeholders and current and prospective customers.
You'll help to develop the commercial function at SEA, improving and enhancing the commercial effectiveness of the division through working together with Bid and Project Managers, project teams and through personal contribution.
We provide state-of-the-art applications for naval ship and fleet protection, and undersea surveillance systems. In-service across the globe, our systems deliver a rapid response to threats and system effectiveness and interoperation. Experience supporting export-controlled, overseas and international contracts, including cross-border commercial considerations. Good understanding of commercial risk management, contract change management and financial/commercial performance drivers.
