Being an integral part of the design, development, design proving, test, commissioning etc. as part of a multi-disciplined team. Systems Engineer will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role allows for flexible working. The salary for this role is up to £55k, depending on experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Support the management of Requirements throughout the Engineering Lifecycle
- Proving Technical inputs to bidding activities
- Integration and production qualification activities
- Working as part of a team, taking concepts and prototypes, and developing them into Products
- Planning Work Packages and support the tracking and execution of them

The skills you need:
- Degree, HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
- Familiar with systems engineering best practice
- Experience with electrical design and product development
- Experience with naval combat systems is desirable
- Competence with requirements management tools such as DOORs is preferred
- Competence with SYSML management tools such as EA is preferred
- Training will be provided where necessary
