About The RoleEngineered to Protect, that's our promise, we protect what matters - our nations, our waters, our land, our cities, our people, our environment, our world. The Electrical/Mechanical Inspector provides inspection function for inbound, in process and outbound materials.
Electrical/Mechanical Inspector will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role does require being onsite 4.5 days a week.
The salary for this role is up to Β£32k, depending on experience.
What you'll be doing
Inspection of sub-contracted castings, machined parts, fabrications, PECs, harnesses, electrical cabinets, and electrical sub-assembliesInspection of internally manufactured assemblies, checking against wiring diagrams, cable schedules, mechanical drawings, and parts listsThe raising of electronic defect reports and provision of inputs into FAIR reportsTo carry out insulation and continuity checking as requiredInspection of termination, crimping and soldering to IPC standardsThere may be requirement for offsite inspectionAny other duties within reason as required by the businessAbout our companyAt SEA, we develop and deliver advanced solutions to make our world safer, cleaner and more efficient.
