The Business Systems Manager is responsible for aligning business strategy, operational processes and technology capabilities to drive organisational performance and growth.
This role allows for flexible working and will be based at either our Barnstaple, Bristol or Beckington sites. The salary for this role is up to £65k, depending on experience.
- Lead the development of business systems capability roadmaps
- Evaluate current business systems and operating models to identify opportunities for transformation and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain strategic plans for business systems that align with the wider business strategy goals and evolving business needs
- Create and communicate a clear vision for the evolution of business systems, ensuring solutions support growth, efficiency, compliance, and align with wider company objectives
- Monitor industry trends, technology developments, and best practices to inform future system capabilities and roadmap planning
- Oversee the evaluation, implementation, enhancement, and optimization of business systems and enterprise applications
- Collaborate with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to define system requirements and solution roadmaps
- Build strong relationships across the business to ensure alignment between business priorities and systems capabilities
- Influence decision-making through clear communication, analysis, and strategic recommendations
- Provide line management

Significant experience in business systems management, business transformation, strategy, consulting, or operational leadership roles is required. Extensive experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, SQL is essential. A strong understanding of business process improvement methodologies and organisational change management is necessary, along with project and program management experience. Candidates should have experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders at all levels, with data-driven decision making and strong commercial awareness.
