The SEA Graduate scheme is a two-year programme starting in September 2026, designed to give you real responsibility and a permanent job from day one. It will provide you with general operational, customer, commercial and people management exposure in key areas with smaller rotations across Production, Business Development, Project Management, Supply Chain and Finance to build on your broader skills.

As a Graduate Electronics Engineer at SEA you will be involved in the design and development of electrical / electronic sub systems for a range of defence applications. The job holder will utilise the latest methods, technology and tools to explore all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements capture, analysis, design, implementation, verification, and product support. The job holder will interface with customers, both internal and external, throughout the design and liaise closely with Engineers from other disciplines to generate solutions to technical challenges.

What you'll be doing:
- Contributing to the Electrical and Electronic Engineering development of a variety of Electro-mechanical Systems supplied by SEA working to agreed cost, time, and quality.
- Producing technical solutions and be capable of describing it adequately to senior members of staff to ensure it is well defined, optimised and understood.
- Actively participating in reviews and approvals of electrical & electronic designs in accordance with business and industry standards.
- Providing technical support to a small multi-disciplinary team of Engineers on specific projects.
- Seeking and share good practice and knowledge locally to continuously improve own practices.
- Providing input to Company standards pertaining to Electrical and Electronic Engineering including calculations, manufacturing drawings & schematics and technical reports.
- Assisting with supporting and maintaining existing SEA product designs.
The skills you need:
- An Electronics or Electrical Engineering degree.
- Schematic design, simulation, prototyping and verification to support the design and development of Electrical/Electronic systems.
- Ability to follow a methodical/systematic approach to analyse and solve problems, identifying key facts and breaking down complex information to components parts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
- Demonstrable ability to plan and execute technical assignments.
- Currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC security clearance.
