Project Manager adi Automation Location – Client sites across the North of England (Based out of Wirral Office) About the Role As a Project Manager, you will manage automation and control systems projects from initial client requirements through to successful delivery and handover. Working closely with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required standards. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include: • Managing automation and control systems projects from concept through to completion. • Acting as the main point of contact for clients and managing stakeholder expectations. • Managing NEC and JCT forms of contract. • Developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets and delivery plans. • Coordinating engineering, design, software, electrical and commissioning teams. • Managing project scope, risks, variations, costs and change control. • Coordinating FAT, installation, commissioning and final handover. • Ensuring projects meet relevant health, safety, quality and engineering standards. • Working across sectors including food, beverage, chemical, marine and materials handling. About you We would like to hear from you if you have: • Proven experience managing automation, control systems or industrial engineering projects. • Strong project planning, organisation and commercial awareness. • Experience managing budgets, programmes, risks and project scope. • Experience with NEC and/or JCT contracts. • Excellent client and stakeholder management skills. • The ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams. • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach. • A willingness to travel regularly to client sites across the North.
