About the Role

You’ll be part of a busy, supportive team, gaining experience in welding, fabrication, and general site activities. You’ll assist in producing high‑quality components and structures, ensuring all work is carried out safely and to required standards. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

  • MIG welding structural steelwork
  • Fabricating components from engineering drawings
  • Preparing materials and parts for welding
  • Supporting general fabrication and workshop activities
  • Unloading deliveries and storing materials correctly
  • Changing and dressing grinding wheels
  • Assisting the Workshop Supervisor with day‑to‑day tasks
  • Following all health & safety procedures and best practices

About you

  • GCSE Grade 4 (or above) in Maths and English
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Practical mindset with attention to detail
  • Professional attitude and reliability
  • Full UK driving licence (advantageous)
  • Aged 18+
