Systems Accountants is partnering with a leading global organisation to recruit a Finance Systems Manager to join its Group Finance function.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance systems professional with strong financial consolidation, reporting, and governance experience in Oracle FCCS and take ownership of a critical finance applications landscape.
The successful candidate will act as the business owner for a portfolio of finance applications across the Record-to-Report process in Oracle EPM, driving operational excellence, system optimisation, user adoption, data quality, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with Finance, IT, Data, and Process teams, you will play a key role in ensuring finance systems deliver maximum business value across a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Systems Ownership & Support
- Lead the day-to-day management of key finance applications, ensuring excellent service delivery and operational performance.
- Act as the primary functional contact for finance users, providing expert guidance and managing escalations.
- Drive system enhancements, process automation initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
- Define business requirements and functional specifications for new developments and enhancements.
- Coordinate testing activities, including UAT planning and execution.
- Manage system access, controls, compliance requirements, and licence optimisation.
- Data Governance & Quality
- Own and promote data quality standards across finance systems.
- Develop monitoring processes and controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate with Finance, Data, and IT stakeholders to improve data structures, financial hierarchies, and reporting dimensions.
- Support governance initiatives relating to chart of accounts, master data, and reporting structures.
- Projects & Change Management
- Lead finance systems projects from inception through to delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project scope, timelines, testing, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support finance transformation initiatives and implementation of new functionality or applications.
- Training & User Adoption
- Develop and maintain training materials, learning pathways, and support documentation.
- Deliver training sessions to new and existing users.
- Analyse support trends and proactively address recurring issues through education and process improvement.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Support the development of financial reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to enhance reporting effectiveness and business insight.
- Candidate Profile
We are interested in speaking with candidates who possess
- Strong experience managing Finance Systems within a global environment.
- Experience with financial consolidation, close, reconciliation, reporting, or record-to-report processes.
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise finance applications such as Oracle FCCS, ARCS, TRCS, Narrative Reporting, or similar EPM solutions.
- Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and finance operations.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into system solutions.
- Proven project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data quality and governance.
- Experience working across international and multicultural business environments.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
