Sage Intacct Project Manager 6 month contract (outside IR35) Greater Manchester (1-3 days per week).

SystemsAccountants are working with a multi-entity UK business at the outset of a Sage Intacct implementation, who are seeking a client-side Project Manager to own the delivery end-to-end. With the implementation partner about to be appointed, the business needs an experienced hand to take full control of timelines, governance, and internal delivery, driving the programme from kick-off through to a phased go-live across five UK entities. The successful candidate will need to galvanise, coordinate, and incentivise the organisation and stakeholders across finance and IT.

Role Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of the Sage Intacct implementation across five UK entities, with full control over project timelines and plan.
  • Manage and hold the third-party Sage Intacct implementation partner to account.
  • Lead and coordinate all testing activities across the business.
  • Oversee integration of Sage Intacct with bespoke solutions and integrations.
  • Establish project governance, cadence, and clear status reporting to senior stakeholders.
Role Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience delivering Sage Intacct implementations.
  • Strong programme/project management credentials, comfortable owning the plan, chairing steering meetings, and managing an SI relationship.
  • The ability to galvanise and motivate an internal project team balancing implementation work alongside their day jobs.
  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA or comparable accounting qualification strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of core finance processes (GL, AP/AR, multi-entity consolidation); light multicurrency exposure (some EUR) is a plus.
  • Experience integrating finance systems with third-party/bespoke software (e.g. invoice scanning, sales platforms).
  • Able to be on-site in the Greater Manchester area at least once per week.
