SystemsAccountants' Workday Practice are partnering with a Financial Services organisation, supporting with the hiring of a new Workday Finance Analyst to join their team.

The role

  • Act as the first and second line of support for Workday Financials across all entities.
  • Work closely with HR and Finance teams, our HCM Support Analyst, and AMS partners to manage requests and improvements.
  • Support Workday releases, testing, and code migrations.
  • Develop reports, calculated fields and condition rules to enhance decision‑making and data accuracy.
  • Drive process excellence across the Record‑to‑Report, Order‑to‑Cash, and Procure‑to‑Pay cycles.
  • Deliver global consistency while recognising local regulatory needs.
  • Maintain a clear audit trail for configuration changes and deployments.
  • Contribute to training and upskilling for new users in deployed countries.

About you

  • Proven experience with Workday Financials and strong accounting background.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of key modules – Accounts Payable/Receivable, Projects & PSA, General Ledger, Time & Expenses, Procure‑to‑Pay, and more.
  • Ability to design custom reports, calculated fields, condition rules, and manage security changes.
  • Understanding of EIBs, web services, integrations, and release management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder and communication skills – you’ll be working closely with senior teams.
  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge designs for global alignment.

This role is a hybrid role, with the expectation you can travel to the London office at least once per week. Currently our client aren't able to sponsor visas, so you must have UK RtW to be considered for this role.
