The Senior Oracle Technical Support Analyst is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimising Oracle systems (ERP, HCM, PBCS/FDI). You will collaborate with functional teams, QA, and external partners to support day‐to‐day operations, deploy updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a secure, well‐documented Oracle environment.

Provide advanced technical support and configuration expertise across Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, Payroll, and PBCS/FDI. This role ensures system stability, reliable integrations, and high availability. You will implement system changes, manage updates, maintain environments, and facilitate vendor collaboration, contributing to continuous improvement and overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Configuration & Administration
    • Perform configuration of Oracle Cloud modules, including workflows, approval hierarchies, roles, flex fields, and custom reports.
    • Translate business requirements into practical configuration solutions aligned with overall system design and processes.
    • Maintain version‐controlled configuration logs to track all system changes.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting
    • Serve as a second‐ and third‐line escalation point for complex technical issues.
    • Analyse root causes using SQL, diagnostic logs, and reporting tools.
    • Resolve system interruptions or data errors promptly to minimise business impact.
    • Assess vendor‐proposed solutions and advise on operational impact.
  • Testing, Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
    • Oversee test environments and coordinate user acceptance and regression testing.
    • Develop and maintain test scripts for new configurations, enhancements, and fixes.
    • Produce comprehensive technical documentation including configuration logs, interface diagrams, and runbooks.
    • Contribute to internal knowledge bases and support team development through mentoring and cross‐training.
  • Patch, Release & Integration Management
    • Coordinate and validate software updates, patches, and releases, ensuring smooth deployment.
    • Maintain release schedules, communicate potential impacts, and implement mitigation plans.
    • Document testing results and maintain rollback procedures.
    • Support and monitor system integrations, troubleshoot data transfers, and maintain detailed integration documentation including mappings, schedules, and security considerations.
  • Data, Reporting & Security
    • Work with analysts to create and troubleshoot reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
    • Respond to ad‐hoc data queries while ensuring regulatory and internal compliance.
    • Monitor data consistency and implement reconciliation processes.
    • Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to maintain system security.
    • Support onboarding, role changes, off‐boarding processes, and audit preparations.
  • Vendor, Stakeholder & Continuous Improvement
    • Collaborate with external consultants or partners to address complex issues.
    • Challenge vendors constructively and communicate technical details clearly to non‐technical stakeholders.
    • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
    • Stay up to date with Oracle Cloud updates and best practices, supporting leadership in managing priorities and future system design.
