SoW:
- Work alongside the Financial Controller to review and support the current Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central finance setup and configuration.
- Review the existing finance configuration within Business Central, identifying areas for improvement, optimisation, and alignment to business processes and financial reporting requirements.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and validation of VAT Statements and related VAT reporting processes within Business Central.
- Provide guidance and walkthroughs on standard Business Central financial reporting functionality, including Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, VAT reporting, aged debtors/creditors, and management reporting.
- Review and advise on Chart of Accounts structure, posting groups, dimensions, and financial controls to ensure best practice usage within Business Central.
- Assist with the review and configuration of account schedules, analysis views, and financial reporting outputs.
- Provide knowledge transfer and hands-on support to internal finance users to improve confidence and capability in using Business Central finance functionality.
- Identify configuration gaps, risks, or process inefficiencies and provide recommendations for remediation or improvement.
- Support testing and validation of finance-related configuration changes where required.
