A rapidly growing business with recent investment and acquisition is expanding its Finance team and looking for a driven Anaplan Systems Analyst to help shape the future of its financial planning and reporting landscape. This role sits at the heart of the digital finance ecosystem, supporting the evolution of their Anaplan environment, strengthening integrations with their Datawarehouse and Source systems, and enhancing Power BI reporting across the business.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a technical, fast‑moving environment — someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new tools, and collaborating with stakeholders to build high‑quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and enhance Anaplan models: Own the ongoing maintenance, optimisation, and troubleshooting of FP&A models.
- Strengthen data integrations: Support and improve system connections between Anaplan, Databricks, and wider enterprise platforms.
- Build impactful reporting: Create and refine Power BI dashboards that support Finance, Operations, and Trading teams.
- Lead systems initiatives: Drive projects from requirements gathering through to delivery, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
- Act as a systems expert: Provide day‑to‑day support, guidance, and issue resolution for finance systems and data flows.
- Data quality: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all connected platforms.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to finance and operational users.
- Hands‑on experience with Anaplan, Data warehouse (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift…), Power BI (Power Query, DAX, PowerBi Services)
- Advanced Excel capability, including Power Query
- Confidence working with large, complex datasets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Fast learner with a proactive mindset
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Anaplan Model builder Certification
- Experience with SQL, Python or equivalent coding language
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
- Background in project or systems delivery
