  • Experience managing on-premise physical hardware infrastructure
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
  • Experience implementing or working with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tooling
  • Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery principles and testing
  • Experience working alongside or managing Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
  • Good understanding of infrastructure security fundamentals and system hardening
  • Experience working within a financial services firm or similarly regulated environment

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Comfortable challenging legacy processes and proposing modern alternatives.
  • Continuous improvement mentality with a focus on reliability and efficiency.
  • Good systems thinking and architectural awareness beyond individual servers.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical teams.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Active Directory administration
  • Pure Storage (Pure SAN)
  • HashiCorp stack (Vault, Consul, Nomad)
