The Role: This position is ideal for someone starting their career in IT support. You may have completed some IT training but have limited hands-on experience. Full on-the-job training will be provided.

Initial Work Pattern: 3–4 days per week at our office in Little Canfield, Essex CM6 and 1–2 days per week on-site at a client location in Ongar.

Future Progression: As you gain experience and confidence, the role will transition to being primarily based at the client site in Ongar, acting as a dedicated on-site IT support engineer. You must be able to reliably commute to both locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing first-line IT support to users
  • Assisting with hardware and software setup
  • Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and basic networking issues
  • Supporting cloud-based systems and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Working both remotely and on-site with clients
  • Escalating complex issues to senior engineers
  • Maintaining professional and clear communication

  • At least GCSE level education
  • Some IT training, study, or personal technical experience
  • Strong interest in IT support as a long-term career
