A leading importer and distributor of fish have an immediate requirement for a (fish) sales and buying manager to join them at their offices in Grimsby.

Salary: Circa £55,000 – £65,000

The company has seen significant increases in demand for their fresh fish products and are looking for an experience sales manager / buyer (within the fish industry) to work with existing clients and help to grow the business.

You will predominantly be focused on sales, purchasing and costings and will be expected to provide holiday cover for senior management. You must have good numerical skills and be computer literate. Accuracy is very important. They need to be confident enough to work independently, are self-driven and also enjoy working as a small team in a fast-changing industry.

The nature of the business requires early starts. Start time would be 5:00am and you would be expected to finish when the job finishes.

This is an opportunity to be part of a growing dynamic business. You will be motivated, gritty, hardworking professional who isn\’t afraid to put the hours in. This is a taxing role both physically and mentally where sometimes you will be asked to be very much hands on and muck in with all factory staff in order to meet deadlines on busy days.

It is essential you have experience of sales / business development within the fishing industry.
