Leading Global Logistics company currently has a requirement to recruit an experienced Inside Sales Customer Support - Shipping Global Logistics. The position will be based at the Southampton Office.
Your role will include liaising with customers and overseas offices by phone and email. Deep-sea shipping experience either as a Freight Forwarder or with a line is desired. Full training will be provided.
Your role will involve:
- Providing competitive quotes to customers
- Ensuring quotes are sent accurately and with a fast turn around
- Following up quotes with customers via phone and asking relevant questions to secure the booking
- Competition mapping
- Feeding back any information that could help secure future bookings for customers to management/team leader
The role will suit individuals currently working as Customer Support, Inside Sales Support - Freight Forwarding, Internal Sales, Global Logistics, Deep Sea Freight, International Cargo and be living within a commutable distance of Warrington, St Helens, Liverpool, Chester, Widnes, Basildon, Essex or be willing to relocate.
