You will join an established firm involved in the design and installation of Commercial / Professional Kitchens across the North of England and Scotland. Your role will be to support the Sales and Projects Teams with estimating of both single items and full schemes, general administration / customer support and ensure equipment is available when required for projects on site. Less experienced candidates will mainly operate from the office with more experienced candidates attending site meetings during all phases of the sales, design and installation process.

As a Project and Business Support Executive you will:

  • Handle and co-ordinate service calls
  • Using Excel, prepare purchase orders, client acknowledgements, delivery notes and invoices
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure goods are available to meet 'on site' dates, on a 'just in time basis'
  • Prepare accurate estimates for single items through to full schemes.
  • Read scaled design drawings and prepare specifications for estimates
  • Prepare O&M Manuals
  • Prepare RAMS
  • Attend site to conduct detailed site surveys (depending on your experience)
  • Attend site meetings during all phases of the sales, design and installation process (depending on your experience)
  • Specialize in mapping out timelines, analysing critical paths, and updating project schedules.
  • Focus on technical pre and post sales support, client relations, and managing internal handovers from sale to delivery.
  • Checking first and second fix M&E are correct to drawings and requirements.
  • Acts as a central communication hub, tracks project milestones, and assists with resource allocation.
  • At times supervising deliveries to site, focusing on logistics, scheduling meetings, managing documentation.
  • Working with senior engineering team to snag a project.

Skills and Attributes:

  • At least 2 years commercial experience in a similar role, supporting projects in the Installation of Commercial Interiors, Shopfitting, Light Construction, Interior Fitout or related sectors
  • Knowledge of CAD software (beneficial, not essential)
  • Able to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically.
  • Good numeracy and IT skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to plan and organise work.
  • Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items
  • An understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Flexible approach to duties and tasks
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality

Ideal candidates will have some 2D / 3D CAD design experience in Commercial Kitchens / Professional Kitchens, Restaurant Kitchens, Interior Design, Light Construction / Shopfitting.
