Working for a firm who design and manufacture electro-mechanical devices in the UK, you will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in designing and developing innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges. This role requires proficiency in various design software and tools, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed mechanical designs and schematics using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Utilise SolidWorks and other design tools to create 3D models and assemblies.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve design issues effectively.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate logic controllers into mechanical systems.
- Perform simulations using MATLAB and Simulink to validate design concepts.
