You will be joining a successful client-focused Construction Consultancy and Project Management firm with retail clients across the UK. Based in Manchester with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.
As a Quantity Surveyor Construction Cost Control you will manage day-to-day tasks including cost control, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost planning, monitoring project costs, and producing regular cost reports. The role involves working closely with clients to ensure projects achieve financial and contractual objectives while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Proficiency in cost control and project cost management.
- Must have a Retail Construction background.
- Experience with preparation and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Expertise in cost planning and cost reporting processes.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Membership in a professional organization such as RICS is a plus.
