A global leader in high-performance synthetic rope used within the marine / workboat industry is seeking a EMEA Technical Sales Manager to drive profitable sales growth through technical expertise, customer engagement, and distributor partnerships. This field-based role combines strategic sales, technical consulting, and relationship management across assigned territories.

Location: UK - any location but ideally within easy reach of major airport.

Salary: Circa £75,000+ and 15% annual bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales and achieve revenue targets within assigned markets.
  • Build and manage relationships with distributors, end users, and industry partners.
  • Deliver technical product presentations, training, and customer support.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend technical rope solutions.
  • Support product development by providing market and customer insights.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical associations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project success.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market updates.
  • Travel up to 50%, including international travel.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of technical sales experience within the marine / workboat market with a proven track record of growing revenue.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience working with distributors and value-based selling.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid passport or ability to obtain one.
