A leading Fire and Security consultancy have an immediate requirement for an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to join them. Location: Multiple - Birmingham, West Midlands, East Midlands, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Derby, North East (Durham, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Stockton-on-Tees), Leeds, Sheffield, York Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + overtime & travel (salary negotiable dependent on experience) OTE £60k+ Key Skills: Fire and Security Service Engineer, CCTV, Galaxy, Intruder Alarm Systems, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Access Control As Fire and Security Service Engineer you role will include routine maintenance and corrective call out jobs to electronic fire & security systems at a range of commercial, industrial and domestic sites in the abovementioned areas. The role is Monday-Friday with an on-call rota for out of hours. On-call rota is currently 1 week in 6. Must have at least 5 years' experience in servicing/maintaining: Security/Intruder Alarm Systems Galaxy systems experience at the very least Preferably a variety of different system types (Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier etc) CCTV systems Analogue and IP Remote monitoring set up Fire Alarm Systems Advanced systems experience at the very least Preferably a variety of different system types (Kentec, Ziton, C-Tec etc) Access Control Systems Paxton Net 2 Experience fault-finding and/or installation of above systems an advantage Also required: A positive attitude and willingness to learn Excellent attendance record in previous employment Computer literacy (our engineers use PDAs) Be willing to have security screening undertaken (as per industry standard) Full UK driving licence Salary and Benefits A competitive basic salary (dependent on experience) plus travel and overtime Great career prospects & future opportunities with a growing company which has been operating within the electronic security industry for more than 40 years Company Vehicle (private mileage available if required) Pension scheme Company Laptop, PDA/Smart Phone & Specialist Tools 20 x days annual leave + bank holidays (with annual increase of holiday allowance after 3 years employment) If you are an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer please click apply now for more details
