A leading consultancy specialising in data extraction and data management have a new opportunity for an experienced Database Administrator / Manager to join them at their offices in Woking.
Location: Woking - GU22 7AE
Hybrid: Working from home on Monday and Friday - in office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Salary: Circa 50,000 - 60,000 + excellent benefits
This is an exciting new position for my client and they are keen to find someone who has at least 3-5 years MS SQL Server database / business application support experience who can bring new ideas and skills to the company.
As MySQL Database Manager you will have experience of:
- Liaising with suppliers (hardware, software and services)
- Implementation planning skills / experience
- Knowledge of Security principles and practice
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day administration & support of the CEDAR application
- Liaison with Rackspace and other suppliers (Auth0 etc)
Challenges:
- Understand the business environment and my client's user community.
- Understand and support the monthly data release cycle
- Develop detailed knowledge of the CEDAR database and application platform
- Authentication (Auth0)
- Web Application (AngularJS / Angular)
- Server (MS .Net CORE)
- Database (MS SQL Server)
Formalise and document key business processes. Contribute to ongoing business improvement.
