Ideal job for someone looking to move from hands-on engineering into a sales focused customer facing role.
You will be working for an established firm, a designer and manufacturer of Industrial Manufacturing Equipment used in the food, industrial, chemical and personal care manufacturing industries. Due to increased productivity, we are now looking to recruit an Internal Sales Engineer Industrial Equipment.
You will have a strong engineering background and be interested in developing into a sales role. Ideal candidates will have completed an engineering apprenticeship and have good technical abilities but also enjoy customer interaction and dealing with people.
You will spend time working in internal sales learning the equipment and business as well as some time shadowing the Sales Manager out in the field to develop and progress into an autonomous field-based Technical Sales Engineer role.
Experience of manufacturing equipment, production line, packaging machinery, filling machines, depositors, transfer pumps and conveyor filling systems, industrial equipment, manufacturing equipment, food production lines would be an advantage but is not essential as full in-house training will be provided.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Internal Sales Engineer Industrial Equipment, Junior Sales Engineer, Trainee Sales Engineer or be willing to relocate.
